Mrs Mandy Jewell Brooks

Mrs. Robert F. Brooks Mrs. Mandy Jewell Kelley Brooks, 89, a life-long resident of the Santa Fe Community, died Sunday, February 1, 2004. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Johnny Tomlin officiating. Burial will be in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends after 3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family atwww.oakesandnichols.com. A native of the Primm Springs Community, she was the daughter of the late Matt Kelly and Louisa Easter Davis Kelley and the last surviving child of their ten children. She was a member of the Hilltown Church of Christ. She was married August 2, 1936 to Robert F. Brooks who preceded her in death March 14, 1992. Survivors include two sons, Leslie (Shirley) Brooks of Columbia and Fred (Alice) Brooks of Burns; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Brooks and Andy Brooks and a grandchild, Melanie Brooks. Pallbearers are Clyde Kelley, Randell Baker, J. W. Shouse, Barry Woodard, Tommy Craig, Jack Craig, Jack Lockhart and Hazel Chapman.
