Mrs. Margaret Ann Price Smith, retired medical technician, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at her residence on Old Williamsport Pike. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Ward, Rev. Thomas Vann, Sr., and Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at Neill Cemetery in Savannah, TN. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Columbia First United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Lambuth University in Jackson and the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis with a degree in Medical Technology. On August 10, 1958 she married Rev. Frank Smith, a minister in the Tennessee Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and was a faithful and beloved partner in ministry. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Frank Smith of Columbia; two daughters, Leslie Smith Walker of Jackson, Trish Smith (Dudley) Smith of Nashville; and two grandchildren, Jordan Ellis and Caroline Walker both of Jackson. Pallbearers will be Jim Lester, Floyd White and members of Mooresville United Methodist Church and Glendale United Methodist Church.
