MRS. ROBERT LEE GREENFIELD Mrs. Naomi Simmons Greenfield, 71, widow of Robert Lee Greenfield, nursing technician, private sitter and resident of the Duck River Community, died Saturday, December 7, 2002 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Joe Mercer and Rev. Kendrick JangDahari officiating. Burial will be in the Sheboss Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and after 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the funeral home. The Lewis County native was the daughter of the late Barth and Annie Travis Simmons and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Lee Choate of Oak Ridge and Betty Ruth (Kendrick) JangDhari of Mt. Juliet; a son, Robert George Greenfield of Duck River; a sister, Betty Sharp of Columbia; a grandchild, Nicky Neal (Vickie) Nance; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Ann Simmons and two brothers, Ewell Lee Simmons and Clifford Wilson Simmons. Active pallbearers are Virgil Bell, Randy Baxter, Jeff Skipper, Josh Woody, Jacob Travis, Matt Phillips, Charlie Phillips and Freddie Sharp. Men of the Southpoint Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.
