Nancy Carole Jones

Mrs. Nancy Carole Thurman Jones, 67, homemaker and resident of Colonial Village Apartments, died Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Life Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Adair officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 2:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. She was a 1958 graduate of Columbia Central High School and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Darrell Keith Jones of Smyrna; one daughter, Deborah Carole Minor of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, Joshua Keith Jones, Derrick Laray Jones, Miranda Hagen, Daniel Tarkington Jones, Jessie Darrell Minor, Rebecca Carole Minor, Matthew Edward Hagen; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husbands, Billy Anglin and Bobby Gene Jones; one daughter, Christina Lynn Hagen; one brother, James Darrell Thurman; and stepfather, Elmo Flowers. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bloss, Freddie Rich, Martin Garcia, and Troy Christopher, Sr.
