Nancy Louise Lentz

Miss Nancy Lentz Miss Nancy Louise Lentz, 64, retired hairdresser and courtesy clerk with Kroger Company and life long resident of West 8th Street, died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bobby Sampson and Fred Lentz officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. She was a native of Maury County and the daughter of the late Edward Alexander Lentz III and Eunice Rodgers Lentz Dickson. She was a member of West 7th Street Church of Christ, graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1957 and attended Columbia Business College and graduated from Columbia Beauty School. Nancy had an abundance of love for her family, friends, home and animals of all kinds. Memorials may be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter, 1236 Lawson White Drive, Columbia, Tennessee 38401. Survivors include two sisters; Charlotte Morrow of Columbia and Linda (Mack) Whiteside of Hampshire, three nieces; Melinda Whiteside (Taylor) Guettner and Scarlett Whiteside (Todd) Gilliam both of Hampshire and Lee Anna Morrow Anderson of Columbia, a great niece; Ashley Anderson (Chris) Jones of Columbia, two great nephews; Justin Morrow of Columbia and Samuel Guettner of Hampshire, two great-great nephews; Colton Morrow of Summertown and Jalen Jones of Columbia, a special cousin; Betty Lentz Grooms of Columbia, three special friends; Wanda Pogue (Wayne) Stanfill and Cathy Garner both of Columbia and Brenda Pogue Webb of Coco Beach, Florida. Active pallbearers will be Justin Morrow, Taylor Guettner, Todd Gilliam, Pete Whitt, Allen Wayne Jones, Terry Anderson, and David Grooms. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Stanfill, Terry Lester, Robert Alderson and past and present employees of Kroger Company.
