Miss Nancy Ann Riley, 74, administrative secretary for Acuff Rose Music Publishing Company and Gaylord Entertainment and long-time resident of Harding Place in Nashville, died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Columbia Care & Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Sheboss Cemetery with Vernon Brooks officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late William Mitchem Riley and Lillie Blocker Riley. She was a graduate of Hampshire High School and Nashville Business College. Miss Riley was a 2006 SOURCE Foundation Award honoree and appears in the Musicians' Hall of Fame in Nashville. She was a member of Southpoint Church of Christ. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Ruby Riley of Hampshire; nieces, Linda (Harold) Tanner of Crystal Springs, Florida, Pam Riley of Dallas, Texas, and Tammie (Ronnie) Pitts of Hampshire; nephews, Thomas (Susie) Riley of Key West, Florida, Bill (Tammy) Riley of Columbia, Steve Riley of Brentwood, and Hugh Riley, Jr. of Nashville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Hollis Riley and Hugh Riley, Sr. Active pallbearers are Bill Riley, Steve Riley, Hugh Riley, Jr., Ronnie Pitts, Kyle Pitts, and Michael Grimes. Honorary pallbearers include Ester and Ed Gower, Gale and Ronnie Gant, Carolyn Lewis, Cecille Light, Peggy Comb, Sam Walden, W. M. Jaggers, and Olivia Whiteside.
