Nell Gunnells Sissom

Nell Gunnells Sissom, 95, longtime Pattern Maker at Washington Manufacturing, went to join her Lord and Savior whom she loved and served all her life, Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Life Care Center of Columbia. Born January 23, 1924 in Tupelo, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Gunnells and the late Ruby Higgins Gunnells. She was a very hard worker and was very loved by her family and extended family. Above all, she loved her Lord and her family. She is survived by granddaughters, Jamie Tomlin, Terri (Charles) Burnett; great grandchildren, Chessa Burnett, and Jacob Burnett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Hickman Tomlin. The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Life Care Center of Columbia for all their love, care, and for becoming her extended family.
