Nell McCall

Mrs. Nell Stanfill McCall, 75, resident of West 9th Street, died Monday, July 10, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 12noon, Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Vaughan and Wendell Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Howard Stanfill and Nettie Smith Stanfill. On April 4, 1949 she married Robert "Bob" McCall who survives her. She was a member of Graymere Church of Christ. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Robert Alan (Jan) McCall of Smyrna, Paul Michael (Barbara) McCall of Indianapolis, Indiana; one granddaughter, Alexis McCall of Smyrna; and two sisters, Mrs. Frances (Charlie) Brown and Mrs. Anna Ruth (W.C. "Wimpy") Jones both of Columbia. Pallbearers will be Jack Stanfill, Stanfill Farris, Kenneth Farris, Billy Stanfill, Rea Grissom, Dennis Satterfield, Eddie Harris and George Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Ervin Gilmore, Lucy Joe Roberts, George Ann Thurman, Brownie Cheatham, Charlene Brady, George and Twilla Brazelton, Martha McCall, Elizabeth Ann Warren, Dr. Thomas Dake, Caris Hospice, doctors and staff of the Oncology Department at Maury Regional Hospital and elders of Graymere Church of Christ.
