Mrs. Norma Alexander Moody, 65, a resident of Seventh Avenue, died Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at the New Lasea Church of Christ with Jack White officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com.` Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Cornett Cemetery in Hughes Springs, Texas. The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs, Texas. A native of Harrison County, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Alexander and Cecil McDonald Alexander. She was a member of the New Lasea Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Loyce Ray Moody, Sr. of Columbia; two sons, Tony (Becky) McGann of Warminster, Pennsylvania and Loyce Ray Moody, Jr. of Santa Fe; five daughters, Carla J. (Gary) Alexander of Mooringsport, Louisiana, Carla R. (Stephen) Slider of Troup, Texas, Connie (Abe) Cutsinger of Kempner, Texas, Cecelia Raines of Columbia and Charlene Caver of Hughes Springs, Texas; three brothers, Henry Alexander, Cecil Lee Alexander and Danny Ray Alexander, all of Marshall, Texas; three sisters, Sybil Richardson of Waskom, Texas, Jackie Kirkland and Martha Sue Coulter, both of Marshall, Texas; nineteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Hamilton and three brothers, J. B. Alexander, Bill Alexander and Keith Alexander.
