Norma Ann Seaborn Kenney

Mrs. Norma Ann Seaborn Kenney, lifelong resident of Columbia passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at her home on Sunnyside Dr. She was surrounded by her loving family. A private graveside burial was held at Rose Hill Cemetery on Monday, May 30, 2022. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. Mrs. Kenney was the daughter of John Robert and Mary Ruth Potts Seaborn, born September 4, 1932. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School, Class of 1950. On August 12, 1950, she married Jack Lee Kenney who preceded her in death. They were married 61 years and shared 5 wonderful children. She was a homemaker and helped her husband as bookkeeper for his business, Columbia Camper Sales and Service. They enjoyed camping and traveled to all 49 of the continental United States. She was a member of the Berea Church of Christ. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by 2 sons, Barry Lee (Vicki) Kenney, Randy (Sherri Mitchener) Kenney and 3 daughters, Suzanne (Alan) Lynn, Beth (Kenny) Marshall, Kristi (Travis) Roemer; 6 grandchildren, Nate (Rachel) Kenney, Andy (Amy) Kenney, Cara (Ty Cobb) Lynn, Katie (Chris Pharaoh) Lynn, Tyler Marshall, and Lauren (Clint) Phillips; 8 great grandsons, Ashton Marshall, Landon Marshall, Jase Kenney, Elliott Hickerson, Jack Kenney, John Kenney, Brock Kenney and Spencer Pharaoh and 2 great granddaughters, Navie Cobb and Nora Kenney; sister, Kay Wilsford and brother in law Bobby Davis and sister in law Elsie Seaborn. She is preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Seaborn; sisters, Bobbie Ellis and Alice Barron; sister in law Ann Davis; special cousin, Charline Massey Gossett. Active pallbearers are Alan Lynn, Kenny Marshall, Travis Roemer, Nate Kenney, Andy Kenney, and Tyler Marshall. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Brown and members of the Berea Church of Christ. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Caris Palliative & Hospice, Dr. Paul Perryman and Dr. Mark Seago.
