She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Sue Overton and a brother, Truman Mayfield. She was very supportive of the Christian education offered by Columbia Academy where all four of her grandchildren attended school. She will always be remembered for the abundant love she had for God, family and friends. She has been described as a loving and caring person who always put others needs before her own. What better legacy could a lady leave? We are all better for having known her.
