MRS. ODESSA HICKMAN Mrs. Odessa Hickman Hickman, 86, resident of Lynnville, died Monday, March 24, 2003, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Vanhooser and Milton Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. She was married for sixty-three years to Luther Vaden Hickman who preceded her in death November 9, 1997. She was a member of Lynnville First United Methodist Church.Survivors include one son, Charles V. (Gale) Hickman of Lynnville; one daughter, Nellie H. (Ronald) Dugger of Knoxville; one brother, Raymond (Mary Alice) Hickman of Lynnville; three grandchildren, Steven (Amy) Hickman of Lynnville, Janelle Dugger, Rhonda (Mike) Conner both of Knoxville; and two great-grandchildren, Adam Hickman of Lynnville and Andrew Conner of Knoxville.She was preceded in death by one sister, Lorene Foster and two brothers, Robert H. Hickman and Melvin Hickman.Pallbearers will be family and friends.
