Ola Mae Weaver Andrews, 96, retired employee of Tennessee Farm Bureau, died Friday, November 30, 2018, at her residence in Holladay in Decatur County.Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rick Welty officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. and Monday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.The family suggests memorials to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington DC 20090-8018. On September 19, 1943, she married Ben Pillow Andrews, Jr., who preceded her in death October 27, 1978. She was a graduate of Giles County High School. Mrs. Andrews was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls which became a lucrative hobby. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Holladay Church of Christ.Survivors include her children, Shirley Mae Andrews (Wayne) Holladay of Holladay, Norma Jean Andrews of Dalton, Georgia, Ben P. “Buddy” (Gayle) Andrews, III of Holladay; sister, Nellie Weaver (Valton) Rummage of Columbia; brothers, Clarence Weaver of Columbia, Bill (Valree) Weaver of Woodbury, Jack (Faye) Weaver of Spring Hill; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by siblings, Samuel Weaver, George Weaver, Dock (Tennie) Weaver, Roy (Becky) Weaver, Hint Frierson Weaver, Eulala (Everett) Prestridge, Mary Kirk, Sara (Garland) Glenn, Jane Trimble, Neva Pearl (Dugin) Kincaid.Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
