Opal Eileen Fawns Sinkeus

Opal Eileen Fawns Sinkeus, 80, resident of Lewisburg Highway, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols concluding with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Price Keller officiating. A native of Springfield, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Arbin Fawns and Leathel Fawns. She was a communicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church. She was first married to Lewis Ray Germann who died in 1968. In 1970, she married Charles F. Sinkeus, who died June 12, 2004. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah (W. D. Dawson) Peterson of Columbia; three sons, Charles (Cathy) Sinkeus of Illinois, Lewis Germann and James (Brenda) Germann, both of Columbia; three brothers, Raymond Fawns, Harold Fawns, and Norman Fawns, all of S;ringfield, Illinois; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Von Helms of Wisconsin, Jimmy Peterson of Columbia, Chad Peterson of Illinois, Josh Peterson of Columbia, Jimmy Germann, Michael Germann, Levi Germann, all of Illinois, and Kayla Pashall of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Catilin Peterson of Columbia, Brian Von Helms,Heidi Von Helms of Wisconsin, Anthony Germann of Illinois.
