Patricia Davis Rogers

Patricia Davis Rogers, 80, died Friday, March 1, 2019 at her residence in Centerville. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com Born February 5, 1939, in Salt Rock, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Paul Davis and the late Margie Adkins Davis. She married Harley Edward Rogers who preceded her in death September 28, 2007. Mrs. Rogers enjoyed volunteering at Shop til it Stops, feeding humming birds, and flower gardening.  Survivors include her daughter, Marcella Sue Potts of Culleoka; son, Robert Daniel Rogers of Centerville; grandchildren, James Robert Neelley and Steven Lee Neelley; and sister, Denise Eyman. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Eugene Rogers on January 7, 2008; sister, Diane Davis; and brothers, Cubby Davis and Johnny Davis. Active pallbearers will be John Neelley, James Neelley, Joe Dugger, Wayne Rogers, and Elvis Rogers. Honorary pallbearer will be Steven Lee Neelley.
