View Funeral WebcastPatricia Deborah Hodge, 63, retired property manager with Parrish Lumber Company and resident of Pulaski, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. at Beechwood Cemetery in Cornersville with Brother Joseph Meadows officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. She was an accomplished scholar earning a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Deborah also enjoyed her productive career at Chattanooga News Free Press as a freelance and professional sports photographer. Deborah loved her family deeply and was deeply loved by her son, family and friends. She will be missed here on this earth, but we know she is rejoicing in heaven with her new and forever body. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Pam for all of her help during her sister's time of need. Survivors include her son, Rand Shaw (Matt Paynter) of Huntsville, Alabama; parents, Tommy & Pat Plemons Hodge of Madisonville; sister, Pamela (Tim) Barrus of Madisonville; niece, Jamie Cathey; and nephew, Justin Russell, both of Madisonville; and great nephew, Brynt Jones. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edgar and Harriet Hodge and Theodore and Delthia Plemons; and aunts, Patsy Robbins; and Loretta Miller. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
