Patricia Kay Farris Johnson, 56, employee of Centerstone Associates and resident of Fifth Avenue, died unexpectedly Monday, November 7, 2016, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Barry Farris officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late James Henry Farris and the late Thelma Lee Slaughter Farris. She was very passionate about her pets and referred to her dogs as her "boys". A very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was also a best friend to many. She was a member of Big Creek Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband whom she married September 29, 2005, Robert Michael "Bob" Johnson of Columbia; son, Jason (Amber) McCain of Campbellsville; sister, Joyce (Gerry) Sanders of Lynnville; step-children, Michael (Amy) Johnson of Franklin and Kerry Johnson of Hawaii; grandchildren, Ethan, Presley, Blaine; nephew, Ken (Carolyn) Spahr of Lynnville; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry W. Farris. Pallbearers will be Ken Spahr, Michael Johnson, Jason McCain, Kent Bell, Richard Farris, and Justin Fry.
