Patricia Sims McMullen

Patricia Sims McMullen, 80, homemaker and resident of Lewisburg, died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at NHC Lewisburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25, 2022, at 1:30 P.M. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Born March 14, 1942, in Cyril, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late James Johnny Sims and the late Annie Laura Allen Sims. She married Carroll Wayne “Bo” McMullen who preceded her in death December 26, 1972. Mrs. McMullen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Dana (Perry) McDaniel of Lewisburg, Tennessee; son, Darren (Rita) McMullen of Meridian, Mississippi; grandchildren, Ryan bunty, Adam Bunty, Megan Jenkins, Kaitlin Binkley, Victoria Heinen, Beau McMullen, Cooper McCullen, PJ McDaniel, Amanda Jennings, JJ Zettler, Lauren Anderson; 32 great grandchildren; sisters, Freda (Bert) Spiers of Saucier, Mississippi; Jan (Jim) Collins of Conway, Arkansas; and brother, Jerry (Karen) Sims of Clinton, Mississippi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Ruth Sims Higginbotham; and brother, Mark Allen Sims.
