Mrs. Patricia Ann Patton Totty, 62, retired nurse and resident of Pamela Drive, died Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Reed officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Robbinsville, North Carolina native was the daughter of the late Ike Patton and Beatrice Hennigan Patton. She was a 1960 graduate of Southeastern High School in Detroit, Michigan. On December 8, 1962 she married Ray Totty who survives her. Mrs. Totty earned her L.P.N. at Maury Regional Hospital and worked for the hospital and Dr. Amit Choksi. Survivors in addition to her husband include one son, Tim (Terri) Totty of Estill Springs; one sister, Maxine (Ron) Fox of St. Clair Shores, Michigan; two grandchildren, Tosha Totty and Tara Totty both of Murfreesboro; three step-grandchildren, Ashley Massengill, Beverly Masengill and Christopher Massengill all of Estill Springs; and one sister-in-law, Virginia Patton of Robbinsville, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by a brother, Cleve Patton. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
