View Funeral Webcast Patricia “Trisha” Gayle Hood, 72, resident of Bratton Avenue in Lafayette, Tennessee, died Monday July 27, 2020 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Kane officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery on Hardison Mill Road. The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born March 27, 1948 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. Hood and the late Martha Brown Hood. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School class of 1966. Ms. Hood worked in sales for many years at Fleet One and Comdata. Later in life, she worked for Wex Inc. She loved painting, dancing, animals, and her Maltese, Casper. Ms. Hood was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She was of the Christian faith. She is survived by her children, Shannon (Michael) Johnson, Wendy (Greg) Caylor, Chris (Linn) Boshers, and Laura (Justin) Allen; grandchildren, Adrianne Serrano, Lauren Caylor, Matthew Boshers, Cheyenne Allen, Katie Allen, Megan Boshers, Meagan Johnson, and Madeline Boshers; great grandchildren, Lovely Serrano, Diamond Leach, Faith Serrano, and King Serrano; sisters, Kathy Deshazo and Martha Ann Hood; niece, Julie Jernigan,; nephew, Phillip (Mary) Jernigan; great nieces and nephews, Lorelei Jernigan, Lola Jernigan, Caroline Morgan, and Anthony Morgan; special friend, Richard McMurtry; and father of her children, Bobby L. Boshers, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruth Hardison Brown; grandfather, Massey Brown; grandmother, Hildred Hood; and niece, Jennifer Morgan. Active pallbearers will include Michael Johnson, Greg Caylor, Justin Allen, Matthew Boshers, Justin Sikora, and Cody Lehr.
