Patricia Vernice Hutcherson Valdes

Patricia Vernice Hutcherson Valdes, 82, retired employee of White House Utility District, died Thursday, August 11, 2022 at NHC Place Cool Springs. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Lasting Hope Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 12:00 P.M. – 1:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born March 29, 1940 in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Orville Henry Hutcherson and the late Amanda O’Dell Hutcherson. Mrs. Valdes enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers, and animals. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she loved her family and spending time with them. She was a member of Millersville Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, whom she married June 7, 1963, Stanley Lewis Valdes; son, Jeff (Cindy) Valdes; daughter, Sharon “Sissy” (Wesley) Hitt; grandchildren, Hunter Valdes, Emily Valdes, Hayden Hitt, and Mason Hitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Hutcherson. Mrs. Valdes family will serve as pallbearers.
