View Video Tribute Patrick Kye Embler, 26, resident of Covey Hollow Road, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 6:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ty Cobb officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Cross Bridges Cemetery. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.The Maury County native, was the son of Leonard Embler and the late Susan Hensley Embler Kinser. He was 2008 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and Middle Tennessee State University while working his way through college. Kye was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. He was a Sentinel for the State of Tennessee FFA and enjoyed working with the Culleoka FFA. Kye was a member of Fellowship Church of Columbia. In addition to his father, Leonard (Rose) Embler, survivors include his siblings, Lauryn Kinser, Knox Kinser, Kandice (Carson) Tripp; paternal grandmother, Faye Embler; maternal grandmother, Jannie Hartsfield; maternal grandfather, Ray (Patsy) Hensley; great grandmother, Margaret Clark; aunts, Sandra Hensley, Cindy (Anthony) Sims, Teresa Embler; uncle, Daniel (Bethany) Hensley; and cousins, Kaitlyn Pearce, Kasi Sims, Tiffany Sims, Tommy Sims, Logan Sims, Sara Sims, Katie Sims, Raylee Hensley, Farris (Mary Ann) Embler.In addition to mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Embler; and uncle, Larry Embler. Honorary pallbearers will be Jody Sensat, Brandon Kelley, Mt. Pleasant High School FFA members, and University of Tennessee at Martin FFA members.
