Patty Sue Montgomery Maggard

Mrs. Patty Sue Montgomery Maggard, 44, x-ray technician at Maury Regional Hospital and resident of Lynnbrook Court, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Maggard was a 1978 graduate of Willow Run High School in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She attended Ferris State and graduated from Washnetew Community College with an Associate Degree in Radiology Technology. She attended Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Sherman Maggard of Columbia; one daughter, Jasmine Chelsea Maggard of Columbia; one son, Justin Maggard of Columbia; her parents, Paul D. & Judith Childers Montgomery of Ypsilanti, Michigan; maternal grandfather, Clifford Childers of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; two aunts, Peggy (Delmar) Kendrick of Harold, Kentucky; Patty (Lewis) Shepherd of Claypool, Indiana; two uncles Conrad (Cha) Childers of Ypsilanti, Michigan; David (Vivian) Childers of Concord, North Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Connie (Rick) Ouellette of Columbia; Patricia (James) Zabik of Belleville, Michigan; one brother-in-law, James Maggard of Ypsilanti, Michigan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmie & Doris Webb Maggard of Ypsilanti, Michigan; and several cousins. Pallbearers will be members of the Central High School Football Team.
