Patty Jo Bowers Sexton

Mrs. Patty Jo Bowers Sexton, 50, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at her residence in Greenbrier. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Adair officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Bristol, Tennessee native was the daughter of James Bowers of Goodlettsville and the late Mildred Baldwin Bowers. She was married to Terry Dean Sexton who preceded her in death November 18, 2004. Survivors in addition to her father are one daughter, Lori Millraney of Murfreesboro; one son, Terry Dean (Jill) Sexton, II of Shelbyville; three sisters, Tammy (Bobby) Panco, Melissa (Rondall) Scott both of Portland, Janice Bowers of North Carolina; one brother, James "Buddy" (Debbie) Bowers of Lafayette; five grandchildren, Mykayla Millraney of Murfreesboro, Taylor Sexton, Hope Faulk, Jackson Deason, Caroline Deason all of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Steven Millraney. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
