Paul A. VaughnVideo memories of Paul Vaughn Paul Anthony Vaughn, 41, owner of Vaughn Excavating, Inc. and resident of Neeley Hollow Road, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Gary Tubb officiating. Burial will be in the Vaughn Family Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was a 1982 graduate of Columbia Central High School and was a member of the Blazer Club in Williamson County. Paul lived for his family, his business and his friends and those were his true loves. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Kaye Green Vaughn; a son, Brandon Paul Vaughn; his parents, J. D. and Hellen Benefield Vaughn of Columbia; a sister, Mickey (Paul) Breeden of Columbia; two brothers, Danny (Kim) Vaughn of Lynnville and Jerry (Beverly) Vaughn of Columbia; his mother-in-law, Mary Jo (David) McMeen; father-in-law, Joe (Judy) Green; sisters-in-law, Renee (Charlie) Fitzgerald, Loretta (Randy) Humphrey, Crystal (Benito) Rangel-Vega and Jessica Green; brother-in-law, Clinton Green; nieces and nephews, Jason and Melanie Breeden, Daniel, Kayla and Jeremy Vaughn; Holly, Hunter and Adison Fitzgerald; Beth Evans, Brandy and Chance Humphrey. Active pallbearers are Jeff Jones, Rex Pogue, Mike Harris, Jamie Land, Jeremy Taft and Todd Cothran. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. William Robinson, Randall Scott, Elaine Truett, Connie Quillen, George Clanton, Richard McAdams, John Totty, Jerry Colley, Mark Stinnett, Brett Neal and employees of JRN, Inc.
