Mr. Paul Jesse (P.J.) Wray, 36, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at his residence on Scott Hollow Road. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Giles County native was the son of Sheryl Kathleen Ragsdale Wray of Mt. Pleasant and the late Paul LawrenceWray. He was employed as a plumber by Rooter Drain and Plumbing Service. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his mother he is survived by three children, Cassey Howell of Pulaski, Ashley Wray and Jesse Dean "Deano" Wray both of Summertown; a sister, Mrs. Amy (Chris) Sprinkel of Culleoka; brother, Frank Douglas (Melinda) Wray of Mt. Juliet; half-sister, Mrs. Lyvonne (Darrell) Keys of Florida; grandmother, Mary Lee Wray of Culleoka; ex-wife, Stephanie Wray; nieces and nephews, Schyler Sprinkle, Lyndsey Sprinkle, Jacob Sprinkle, Philip Sprinkle all of Culleoka; Jacob Wray, Samuel Wray both of Mt. Juliet, Darrell Keys, Jr., Sierra Keys both of Florida; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Otto Wray, and maternal grandparents, Jessie and Bessie Ragsdale. Pallbearers will be members of the military. Honorary pallbearers will be William Braden, Marty Parrish, Eddie Tosh, Chaney Turnbo, Donnie Wray, Trent Wray, Jeff Wray, Randall Wray, T.J. Wray, Rusty Carpenter, Paul Westmoreland, Jr. and Larry Joe Kelley.
