Mrs. Pauline Paul "Polly" Galbreath, 87, resident of Rick Hight Road and retired owner-operator of Galbreath Country Store in the Park Station Community for many years, died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Life Care of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Ricky Clay officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Marshall County native was the daughter of the late Ollie Paul and Lula Hastings Paul. She was a long-time member of Scribner's Mill Church of Christ. Her husband, Floyd Lentz Galbreath, died March 30, 1996. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jim Baird of Waverly and Elaine and Jim Morrow of Crossville; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Ernestine Galbreath of Culleoka; seven grandchildren, Joe (Patsy) Minor, Tanya Combs, Ronnie (Cathy Montgomery) Galbreath, Pam Galbreath, Kim (Wendell) Ketchum, Lawanda (Patrick) Mitchell, and Harold (Tena) Wilkey, Jr.; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and six brothers. Active pallbearers are Ronny Galbreath, Harold Wilkey, Jr., Joe Minor, Chris Carrington, Bryant Galbreath, and L. V. Rubert. Honorary pallbearers include Charlie Huffman, Ed Holton,Wilburn Ervin, Jack Craig, Colby Mitchell, Hunter Ketchum, the Martin Family of Park Station, members of Scribner's Mill Church of Christ. and staff of Life Care of Columbia.
