View Video TributeMrs. Peggy Joyce Harris Anderson, 79, resident of Mapleash Avenue, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. William Rolman officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Lester Harris and Lucille Dillehay Harris. She was a 1951 graduate of Columbia Central High School and was employed as telephone operator for Southern Bell for several years. She was member of Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband whom she married March 31, 1957, Thomas B. Anderson, Jr. of Columbia; daughter, Regina (Barry) Potts of Fort Mill, South Carolina; son, Tommy (Jennifer) Anderson of the Santa Fe Community; grandchildren, Hannah (Justin) Turney, Harrison Potts, Liz (Scott) Weygand, Luke Anderson, and Morgan Anderson; and great grandchildren, Baylor Turney, Maralyn Weygand, and Emalyn Weygand. Pallbearers will be Ray Anderson, Teddy Anderson, Randell Anderson, Charles Martin, Harrison Potts, and Luke Anderson.
