Peggy Jean Kincaid Jack, 81, retired beautician and resident of Sharon Circle, died Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Life Care Center of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Chaplain Lyndell Propst officiating. Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2800 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late Lovell Cheek Kincaid and the late Mable Hight Kincaid. On May 20, 1955, she married Donald Farris Jack who preceded her in death September 8, 2016. Mrs. Jack graduated high school in Nashville and was employed at Maury Regional Hospital for several years as beautician and store room clerk. She had also served as a substitute teacher for many years. An avid horse lover, Mrs. Jack owned and showed Tennessee Walking Horses and was a member of the Horseman's Association. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, David Robin (Darlene) Jack of Columbia; grandson, Christopher Robin Jack of Columbia; granddaughter, Phyllis Renee Reed of Columbia; great grandson, Matthew Hunter Reed of Columbia; several nieces and nephews; and several cousins. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
