Pene Davis

Doris PeneRoy Davis, 42, waitress and former resident of Columbia, died Sunday, December 17, 2006, at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, North Carolina. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with James Dickey officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. A lifelong resident of Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Thomas Davis and Lillie Richardson Davis. She attended Maury County Schools. Survivors include three daughters, Samantha Kaye Truelove, Emily Faye Truelove, and Emelia Raye Truelove, all of Columbia; one sister, Debra Sue "Susie" Cheatham of Lewisburg; one brother, William LeRoy Thomason of Nashville; niece, Lisa Marie (Bud) Pagel, and nephews, William LeRoy Thomason, Jr., and David Roy (Mindy) Thomason.
