Mr. Percy Osro "Pap" Sharp Mr. Percy Osro "Pap" Sharp, 72, retired farmer, died Saturday, June 5, 2004 at his residence on the Hampshire Pike in the Cross Bridges Community. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Joe Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Percy W. Sharp and Lula J. Sharp and a graduate of Hampshire High School. Survivors include a first cousin, Mary Belle Davidson of Hampshire and other cousins, Ronald Davidson of Columbia, Lela Grimes and Howard Duncan, both of Hickman County, Roger Davidson of Lawrence County, Johnny Davidson of Lewis County, Denny Davidson of Lawrence County. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lemma Claude. Active pallbearers are Ken Cecil, Gordon Travis, Millard Dale, Larry Himes, Allan Osmond and Brett Herman. Honorary pallbearers include Jack Cecil, Mooney Beard, Jeff Beard and friends in the Cross Bridges Community.
