View Funeral WebcastMr. Pleasant Allen "Sonny" Logue, 69, resident of Old Military Road, died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Howard Alexander and Brother Kevin Connelly officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Clifton Allen Logue and Lizzie Bell Johnson Logue. He was a longtime former resident of the Boston Community in Williamson County. Mr. Logue was a retired diesel mechanic for Cleburne Farms/Massey-Ferguson and a self-employed trim carpenter. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Griggs Logue of Santa Fe; daughter, Kathy (Doug) Prince of Knoxville; two sons, Keith (Christy) Logue of Thompsons' Station, Cliff (Malissa) Logue of Huntsville, AL; three step-children, Melanie (Lonnie) Emler, Richard (Brandy) Pruitt both of Columbia, Mary Jo (Gene) Sullivan of Santa Fe; two sisters, Martha Peay Vick and Virginia (Wayne) Reece both of Columbia; brother, Larry (Janice) Logue of Columbia; twenty-two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Southern and twin nephews, Blake and Blane Dalton. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Marlin Hendrix, Jackie Reed, Fleming Hassell, Wayne Harris, Jimmy Goble, Curtis Hendrix, Robert Burns, Danny Goodgine, Joe Allen King, Pat Campbell and Tony Pruitt.
