Randy Eugene Dooley

Randy Eugene Dooley, 62, an employee of Lowe’s and resident of Columbia, died Saturday, June 3, 2023, at NHC Columbia after a brief illness. Private family services will be conducted at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at Southern Tre Steakhouse upstairs in the Magnolia Room. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors is assisting the family with arrangements. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born November 20, 1960 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Cecil Thomas Dooley and the late Imogene Nichols Dooley. Mr. Dooley had worked for Shapard Lumber and Southern Sash building suppliers. He was an avid Hunter and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include son, Alan Dooley of Columbia; several grandchildren; brother, Tommy (Pat) Dooley of Columbia; niece, Julie (Doug) Kinnard of Franklin; nephew, Jeff (Ashley) Dooley of Culleoka; and great-nieces, Abby Kinnard (Noah) Bledsoe of Chattanooga; Lauren Kinnard of Los Angeles, California. Honorary pallbearers include Chuckie Estes and John Carpenter. The family would like to express a special thanks to NHC Columbia, Compassus Hospice, his close friends and colleagues for their care and support.
