View Funeral Webcast Randy Steven Oliver, 55, resident of Kittrell Road in Hohenwald, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Lewis County Manor.Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Pastor Jim Ledbetter officiating. Burial followed in Friendship Cemetery in the Culleoka Community. The Maury County native was the son of the late Herman Murphy Oliver and Myrtle Dugger Oliver and attended the Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Culleoka High School and enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Survivors include sisters, Mary Etta Davis, Argie Oliver, Linda Dugger, and Connie Thompson, all of Columbia and Cathey (Richard) Sinden of St. Peter's Missouri; a brother, Jerry Oliver of Columbia; room-mate, Buddy Hinson of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gracie Oliver Haywood and a brother, Herman Oliver. Active pallbearers are David Oliver, Jeremy Thompson, Jamie Thompson, Sr., Steve Terry, Harold Wayne Richardson, Jr., and Mike Haywood.Honorary pallbearers include Greg Pilkinton, and nursing staff of Lewis County Manor and Hospice.
