RAY CLARK Donald Ray Clark, 67, retired from Monsanto Company with 41 years service and a resident of Cheyenne Trail, died Friday, September 19, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 12:00 Noon at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Ray Newell officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the son of the late Ernest Carroll Clark and Odie Mae Steward Clark. He was a 1954 graduate of Columbia Central High School and served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church where he served on the Administrative Council and Columbia Lodge #31 of Free & Accepted Masons. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Jean Sands Clark; a daughter, Letitia (Wayne) Franklin; 2 grandchildren, Clark Franklin and Victoria Franklin; a sister, Miss Jean Clark; three brothers, James (Betty) Clark, Billy (Sue) Clark, Charles (Bertha) Clark; and sister-in-law, Eleanor Loy Clark, all of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilburn Clark. Pallbearers are Marty Clark, Jeff Helgren, Jeff Foster, Rodney Patterson, Bill Brooks, Robert Wayne Clark, Ronnie Bates, Terry Sargent, Chip Clark and Terry Davis.
