Rebecca Ann Bone Weaver

Mrs. Rebecca Ann Bone Weaver, 80, devoted wife and mother and co-founder of Kiddie Cottage Day Care, died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at her residence on N. Cherry St. in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jim Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late George Lofton Bone and Florence Logan Bruce Bone. She was married to Roy Weaver for 57 years and was a member of Locust St. Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Rita (Lyndon) Campbell of Athens, AL; three sons, Dwayne (Beverly) Weaver of Decatur, AL, Wendell (Dolly) Weaver of Mt. Pleasant, Terry (Debbie) Weaver of Columbia; 13 grandchildren, Ryan Campbell, Jarrin Campbell, Jana Campbell all of Alabama, Brad Weaver of Mt. Pleasant, Brian (Lindsay) Weaver of Jackson, Andrea (Allen) Harris, Brandon Weaver, Brent Weaver all of Columbia, Jason Weaver of Decatur, AL, Tony Long, Tonya Runnels both of Summertown, Jimmy (Chelsie) Hobbs of Moulton, AL, Krystal Hobbs of Decatur, AL; 9 great-grandchildren; very special friends, Polly Hicks and Mary Gilmore; and beloved members of the Bone and Weaver families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Weaver; a grandson, Kevin Weaver; three brothers, Leroy Bone, James Bone and Donald Bone; sister, Dot Haneline; and her aunt and uncle who raised her, Ada and Elisha Duncan. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Locust St. Church of Christ.
