Marian Renee Horton Marian Renee Horton, 36, employee of Asurion of Nashville, died Thursday, April 1, 2004, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on Wayne Street with Rev. N. Curtis Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. at Jackson Street Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville and Monday after 12:00 noon at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. The Maury County native was the daughter of Woodrow Wilson Horton, Sr. and Mary Ruth James Horton of Columbia. She graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1985 and received an Associate Degree from Columbia State Community College in 1988. She was a member of Jackson Street Missionary Baptist Church of Nashville. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Woodrow Wilson (Brenda) Horton, Jr. of Columbia; five nephews, Gen'Taris Horton, La'Trance Horton, Meco Childress, Cedrick Childress, and Cord Childress; four aunts, Clara Wray, Wendolyn Eli, Patricia Bey, and Charlet Jones; one great aunt, Mildred Thomas; three uncles, Jesse James, Clarence Horton, Robert Leslie; and a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be Manuel Young, Stanley McCoy, Larry Jones, Phillip Holt, Donald Sharp, Vernon Ward, Keith Hall, and Tracy Miles.
