Richard E Hopkins

Mr. Richard Eugene (Dick) Hopkins, 67, retired from Saturn Corporation and resident of Woldrige Drive, died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with The Rev. Thomas Wilson officiating. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association,Nashville Office, 4205 Hillsboro Road, Suite 200, Nashville 37215. He earned an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering from New York State College. Survivors include his wife, Diane Faye Burroughs Hopkins of Columbia; a daughter, Cathy Hopkins of Sugarland, Texas; a son, David (Denise) Hopkins of Columbia; his mother, Louise Burlingame Hopkins of Loean, New York; a brother, Robert Hopkins of Williamsville, New York and a granddaughter, Leah Tunstall of Murfreesboro. He was preceded in death by his father, Ellsworth Hopkins.
