Mr. Richard Dale Parr Mr. Richard Dale Parr, 60, self-employed construction worker, retired from the U. S. Navy with 22 years service and resident of the Mooresville Pike in the Culleoka Community, died Friday, July 16, 2004 at Veterans Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with James "Mickey" Dalton officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. Survivors include his companion of 17 years, Rhonda Dalton of Culleoka; two daughters, Jennifer (Greg) Stidham of Mt. Pleasant and Brittney Dalton of Culleoka; two sons, John (Mary) Parr of Centerville and Jason Parr of Columbia; his mother, Beatrice Parr of Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Pam (Andrew) Scott of Mt. Pleasant and Sherry Meade of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, April Lamb, Austin Hardison and Megan Stidham; very special nephew, Austin Moss; very special friends, Donald and Olamae Dalton of Shelbyville; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Parr; twin sons, Donald Blake Dalton Parr and Richard Blain Dalton Parr; a sister, Barbara Ann Payne. Pallbearers are Adam Scott, Andrew Scott, Sam Marlow, Ronnie Riggins, David Travis and James Prince.
