MR. RICKY BROWN Mr. Ricky Eugene Brown, 43, employee of Home Depot in Cool Springs and resident of Bear Creek Pike, died Monday, August 25, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Carolyn Matlock Brown-Holder of Lewisburg, Eula Brown of Columbia who reared him and the late Ralph Eugene Brown. He worked several years at International Comfort Products in Lewisburg. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Jackson Brown of Columbia; two daughters, Chrissy (Shannon) Potts of Smyrna, Angela Johnson of Columbia; one son, Christopher Johnson of Nashville; one granddaughter, Alyssa Potts; four sisters, Teresa (and her husband, Bobby, who was very devoted to Ricky) Bobo of Columbia, Daphanne (Sammy) Tankersley of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Lori (Brad) Barcheers of Lewisburg, Tabatha (Jimmy) Lamb of Lewisburg; three brothers, Jason D. (Lori) Sloan of Columbia, Randall Sloan of New York, New York, Phillip (Sara) Higgins of Roseville, California;; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Bobo and former employees of ICP.
