RICKY WHITFIELD Richard "Ricky" Keith Whitfield, 29, tree surgeon, died Saturday, November 8, 2003, at his residence on Pigg Schoolhouse Road in Santa Fe. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Danny Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Adkisson Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Tristan Whitfield of Columbia; father, Allen Keith Whitfield of Santa Fe; mother, Gayla Dell Whitfield of Columbia; one brother, Dustin Whitfield of Columbia; one sister, Lucia Marie Whitfield of Alabama; maternal grandmother, Rachel Beard of Columbia; and paternal grandmother, Mary Whitfield of North Carolina. Pallbearers will be Chris Sprinkle, Sam Hartsfield, Bodie Whitfield, Jack Beauregaurd, Chancy Turnbo, Rocky Tainatongo, and Roy Eslick. Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Race and Ronnie Scott.
