Rob S Moore

Mr. Rob S. Moore, 82, retired employee with Union Carbide and resident of Morris Ave., died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Williamson Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Cemetery with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Floyd Moore and Iva Chunn Moore. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Epperson Moore of Columbia; three sons, Steve (Pat) Moore of Murfreesboro, Daniel Moore of Columbia, Timothy (Renee) Moore of Ray City, Georgia; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Sneed of Columbia; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Sautry and two sisters, Agnes Shires and Dalice Harmon. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
