Robert Allen Brown Robert Allen Brown, 91, retired electrician and resident of Greenwood Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Wright officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. He was married to Eula Ann Parson Brown who preceded him in death on February 17, 1995. Mr. Brown served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He had worked as an electrician, also doing plumbing, painting, and carpentry. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant. Survivors include one niece, Jean (Jasper) Foster of Columbia; five nephews, Richard E. (Frances) Brown of Franklin; Alvin (Barbara) Brown of Nashville; L. E. Loftin of Columbia; Larry (Mary) McAnally of Loudon, Tennessee; Bill Brown of California; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn McAnally and Ora Loftin; and three brothers, Paul Brown, Clifford Brown, and Earl Brown. Pallbearers will be Richard Brown, Alvin Brown, Jasper Foster, Stan Foster, Kenny Foster, Ricky Brown, and Larry McAnally. Honorary pallbearers will be men of First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant, Dr. Taylor Rayburn, Dr. William Robinson, and Dr. Moataz Toban.
