Robert Walter Claiborne

Robert Walter "Red" Claiborne, 40, of Greene Settlement Road, Gray, Georgia, died Thursday, December 18, 2008, at his residence. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm, Monday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, CST, Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Gibsonville Cemetery in Maury County, Tennessee. Mr. Claiborne was born on July 17, 1968, in Franklin, Tennessee, and had lived in Gray for the past year and a half. He was a 1987 graduate of Culleoka High School in Culleoka, Tennessee. Mr. Claiborne worked as an auto body repair technician for B & H Body Shop and attended Calvary Chapel Church. He was preceded in death by his mother: Nancy Lee Burge Claiborne. Mr. Claiborne is survived by his wife: Nancy Claiborne of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; son: Austin Claiborne; step-daughter: Kayla Jean Kilmer; granddaughter: Autumn Elise Hooks; father: Robert E. Claiborne of Gray; brother: Andy Claiborne of Gray; and by his sisters: Leanna Gordon of Ft. Valley and Vivian Rose of Pulaski, Tennessee.
