Mr. Robert A. "Sarge" Full, USAF MSGT retired, 73, resident of Vaughn Road, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 11a.m., Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. William Rolman officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Mount Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. The family will visit with friends Friday from 9a.m. until 11a.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Branch County, Michigan native was the son of the late Robert Edward Full and Beatrice May Paradine Full. He was a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School in Battle Creek, Michigan. Mr. Full joined the United States Air Force in 1950. He served for twenty-two years, retiring in 1972. Following his military career he worked as a computer analyst at Bishop Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. He moved to Columbia in 1993. Mr. Full was a member of the VFW and American Legion Millard Post 374 in Omaha, NE. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Beverly Larson Full, of Columbia; one daughter, Christine (John) Karnish of Omaha, NE; granddaughter, Heather Full of Omaha, NE; great-granddaughter, Brianna Full of Omaha, NE; sister, Ruth (Dan) Kilbourn of Columbia; brother-in-law, Roger Baley of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Full and one sister, Reva Baley. Pallbearers will be provided by the United States Air Force.
