MR. ROBERT H. HUNTMr. Robert Henderson Hunt, 85, died Friday, May 30, 2003 at his residence in Lynnville, Tennessee following an extended illness.Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Lynnville Church of Christ with Milton Stephens and Artie Collins officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. After his military service, he moved to Giles County where he was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of the Lynnville Church of Christ where he served as an elder for 22 years.He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Mary Ellen Carpenter Hunt of Lynnville; five daughters, Anne Hardy (Larry) Collins of Florence, Alabama, Mary Lynn (Bill) Rotenberry of Nashville, Betty Ruth (Dan) Thompson of Knoxville, Sharon Ellen (Todd) Howell of Pulaski, and Susan Elizabeth (Joe) Warren of Lynnville; two sons, John Robert (Perry) Hunt of Columbia, and Charles Henderson (Roseanne) Hunt of Lynnville; four brothers, Winston Hunt of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, Lewis Hardy Hunt of Pleasant View, John Edward Hunt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Henry Warren Hunt of Clarksville; two sisters, Eugenia Miles and Ruth Scott, both of Dickson; eight granddaughters, Jennifer Thompson, Rebecca Rotenberry, Rachel Rotenberry, Elizabeth Warren, Laura Hunt, Catherine Hunt, Tori Hunt, and McKenna Hunt; and eight grandsons, Jon Rotenberry, Robbie Thompson, Adam Thompson, Mark Warren, Phil Hunt, Travis Hunt, Taylor Howell, and Greg Howell.Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be men of the Lynnville Church of Christ.
