Robert Lee "Rob" Elliott, Jr.

Robert Lee “Rob” Elliott, Jr., age 58, passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2023, at his residence in Columbia, Tennessee. Rob was born in Columbia on July 5, 1964, to the late Robert Lee Elliot, Sr., and the late Doris Louise Smith Elliott. An avid Vols fan throughout his life, Rob also played football for Columbia Military Academy and the Columbia Central Lions. He loved watching baseball and cooking for family and friends. Rob had a contagious smile and an amazing sense of humor. He could make anyone laugh and his joyful spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Rob was preceded in death by his beloved son, Nicholas Haze “Cole” Elliott, who passed away on July 3, 2019. Survivors include his daughter, Ashton Elliott of Columbia; sister, Kim Elliott of Columbia; seven nieces and nephews, Virginia Brown (Jason Mazuk), Sarah Forshee (David), Emily Meacham (Nathan), Karlie Dickinson, Kaity Dickinson, Maverick Dickinson, and Logan Baxter; and ten great nieces and nephews, Ella Barnes, Millie Barnes, Charlotte Barnes, Remi Mazuk, Michael Forshee, Lucas Forshee, Baylor Hedrick, Harper Hedrick, Nora Hedrick, and Ella Meacham. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 9th from 2-4 pm at the Southern Tre Steakhouse upstairs in the Magnolia Room.
