Mr. Robert Ray Prim, 64, truck driver for the Tennessee Department of Corrections, died Friday, June 24, 2005 at his residence in the Lynnville Community. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 8:30 p.m. at Martin Wilson Funeral Home in La Follette, Tennessee. The family will visit from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Campbell County Memorial Gardens in Jacksboro, Tennessee. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. He was a native of Erlanger, Kentucky and moved to La Follette at age 5 with his parents, the late Garland Prim and Sally Bradon Prim. He attended St. John's Catholic Church in Lewisburg and was a 32 degree Mason and member of La Follette Masonic Lodge #623 and Scottish Rite Blue Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Emmons Prim of Lynnville; a daughter, Tammy (Darryl) Hill of La Fallotte; a son, Robert (Shirley) Prim, Jr. of Fairview; two grandchildren, Jerrod Robert Prim and Gabriel Rardon; three step-children, Wendy (Javier) Reyes, Lyle (Carolyn) Rardon, Gabe Rardon; two sisters, Nania (Bruce) Green and Mary (Claude) Brown of La Follette; two brothers, Ralph (Belle) Prim and Roy (Pat) Prim of La Follette and the mother of his children, Clara Prim of La Follette. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ada Falls and Joyce Parker and a brother, Bill Prim.
