Robert Shane Seagraves, 55, Locomotive Engineer for Patriot and resident of Cornersville, died Friday, December 27, 2024 at his residence. 

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Andy Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born January 22, 1969 in Columbia, he was the son of the late William Robert Seagraves and Janice Sue Brunson Grooms. Shane was a 3 time Mr. Tennessee Body Building Champion. He enjoyed playing golf and never met a stranger. Shane was a very active and devout Christian. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Brandie (Trent) McDeavitt of Culleoka, TN, Raileigh Paige Seagraves of Cornersville, TN; Grandsons, Elijah Hankins of Culleoka, Mekhi McDeavitt of Culleoka, TN; brother, William ”Scott” Seagraves, Fiancée, Misty Dunham; step daughter, Katelynn Knois, and several cousins

Pallbearers will be Josh Simpson, Joseph Whitaker, Josh McGee, John Wise, Nick Phillips, Tony Clar
