Mr. Robert L. "Bobby" Tomlin Mr. Robert Leonard "Bobby" Tomlin, 72, retired supervisor for Flav-O-Rich Dairies, died Monday, September 6, 2004 at his residence on Figures Avenue. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Bob Adair officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rutherford County native was the son of the late Leonard Tomlin and Ella Mae Roland Tomlin. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Mr. Tomlin was a member of the Tennessee National Guard from 1949 to 1958. Survivors include his wife, Peggie Sue Gilbert Tomlin of Columbia; a daughter, Belinda (Jerry) Bell of Columbia; two grandchildren, Todd (Alicia) Bell of Lookout Mountain, Georgia and Jennifer Bell of Nashville; two great-grandchildren, Macey Bell and Blaze Bell of Lookout Mountain, Georgia; a brother, Jack McKinley (Lou) Tomlin of Lynchburg; an aunt, Ruby Parker of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Todd Bell, Darrell Tomlin, Richard Tomlin, John Tomlin, Melvin Gilbert, Jr., Vern Gilbert and Don Mitchell.
